Fresh out of high school he held an outside sales position, bartended, and studied at Southern Illinois University. But Joseph had the desire to serve his country. So, in 2018 he joined the United States Navy where he served for almost 5 years. Upon completion of his contract with the Navy. He longed to live in the beautiful, sunny San Diego. Having a strong work ethic and diverse skillset. Valriya’s hiring team believed Joseph would be a great fit!
“While much of my early service in the Navy was construction and tactics based. I gained leadership knowledge not offered anywhere else. As proud of my service as I am, it was time to make a change. I have always been passionate about people. I take pride in my work and my customer service. The last year or so of my service I ran the warehouse operations where my team and I served the battalion with all their project requirements for materials and equipment. I enjoyed finding solutions and helping my fellow service members achieve. With that level of customer service, paired with my knowledge of the trades industry and warehouse operations. I felt like Valriya was the perfect fit for me. The employees here welcomed me as if I were family. Something a lot of my fellow veterans struggle to find post service. I hope to continue to grow here and begin to service all Valriya’s partners the same way I was able to service my country. With the highest level of professionalism and dedication!
